Fall weed control is one of the most important steps we take on our farm to set up next year’s crops for success. In this video, we’re covering how and why we use pre-emergent herbicides across 500–600 acres to protect our ground going into the 2026 season. From timing and weather conditions to product choice and spray strategy, this fall program keeps our orchards and fields clean, saves time in the spring, and helps us get ahead of tough-to-kill weeds before they start.
Follow along as we talk through what we’re applying, how it fits into our crop rotation, and why fall herbicide management is such a crucial part of farming here in Michigan.
