Brian Martindale has been selling seed in Michigan since 1991. As owner of Ag Pro Farm Service in Corunna, he sells and treats soybeans for growers in Shiawassee County and across the state, on soils that can change from one end of a field to the other.
Brian talks about the white mold and sudden death syndrome his customers face on old lakebed soils, low muck ground and former dairy fields, and why he started adding Heads Up® to the seed he treats. He explains why he values a systemic treatment that lasts the whole season, how it compares with options he's found less predictable, and why, as a seed treater, he appreciates a product that mixes easily and won't leave beans sticky.
