On the farm, you learn quickly that flexibility is survival. Today's vlog is a perfect example of how plans change at a moment's notice and how we pivot to make it work.
We were ready to keep the hay bailing rolling, but high moisture levels forced us to pump the brakes. Instead of pushing forward and risking poor quality hay, we made the call to adapt. That's when the real day began.
With rain approaching, we pivot to field preparation and planting 43 to 45 acres of silage corn. It's not what we planned, but it's what needed to happen. This is farm life - constant adjustments, quick decisions, and trusting your instincts.
Equipment maintenance doesn't wait for a good time. Today we're dealing with a tractor that needs some serious "surgery" - and we're documenting the process. When your equipment breaks down, you find a solution. You work through it.
Beyond the daily operations, this vlog offers a look into the history of our business, its roots in FFA, and how we got here. More importantly, it shows how faith anchors our family through every changing season - the good decisions and the hard pivots.
This is what adaptability looks like. This is what faith in action looks like.
