Sonic Boom combines sulfentrazone (low solubility) and metribuzin (high solubility) into a co-crystal solid, keeping both actives near the soil surface where weeds like waterhemp germinate. This innovative formulation delivers excellent weed control while improving crop safety compared to traditional tank mixes.
In this field demonstration, even at the maximum labeled rate of 26 oz/A—and in areas where the rate was doubled—soybeans showed virtually no crop response, while weed control improved dramatically. Sonic Boom provides growers with an underutilized but highly effective mode of action for stronger, more consistent weed management.
