Harvest is a time to reap the rewards of a job well done. Before corn seed can be planted, seed must first be grown and harvested. This week Steve white travelled to a Nebraska seed corn plant where harvest isn't the finish line, but just the beginning.
As the summer winds to a close and pastures begin to go dormant, weed management might not be the top priority of many cattle producers. However, fall can be one of the most effective times to control some of the toughest rangeland invaders.
A surprise in the stocks report pressured the corn market this week and traders are starting to eye key support levels. Soybeans continue to feel harvest pressure, and wheat fell to fresh lows despite limited issues in the Southern Hemisphere. To help make sense of it all, we welcome our market analyst guest, Jeff Petersen.
Looks like weather is holding out as harvest is ramping up. Eric Hunt has prepared a seasonal outlook for us this week. What can we expect as we work our way through the fall months?
