K385001 - Standard Serrated Knife that fits a Jay-Lor® and Penta™ mixer. The K385001 knife is a step up from the standard OEM knife with the addition of a serrated cutting edge to aggressively cut through tough, stemmy, or dry hay. Each knife is made in our Iowa plant using a high carbon base material with a heavy coating of tungsten carbide fused on. This process allows the blade to self-sharpen as it wears, providing a sharp edge throughout the life of the blade. It is also heat treated. This knife is used for cutting and mixing livestock rations.

K385004 - Kooima Ag Exclusive Serrated Insert Knife. This high-performance carbide insert style mixer wagon knife fits a variety of mixers including JAY-LOR®, Penta™, Kirby™, and MaxiMixer™ feed wagons. This knife is used for cutting and mixing livestock rations. It features a long-lasting design and a more aggressive cutting edge. The K385004 mixer knife uses a solid carbide insert edge providing 2-3 times the cutting life of the blade over a standard tungsten coated steel edge. The additional, Kooima Ag patented serrated design, provides a more aggressive cut which is essential in longer, dry hay rations.
