Virginia Pork Council Annual Meeting Set for June 26 in Franklin, Virginia | Pork Industry News
FRANKLIN, Va. — Pork producers, industry stakeholders and members of the Virginia pork industry are invited to attend the 2026 Virginia Pork Council Annual Meeting on Friday, June 26, at Camp Community College's Franklin Campus Workforce Development Center in Franklin, Virginia.
The Virginia Pork Council is reminding attendees that advance registration is required to attend the event. Producers must register beforehand and will not be admitted without pre-registration.
The annual meeting will be held at the Workforce Development Center, located at 100 North College Drive in Franklin, Virginia. Activities will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pork Quality Assurance (PQA) training, an educational program focused on animal care, food safety and responsible pork production practices.
Following the training session, attendees will gather for lunch at noon before the official Virginia Pork Council Annual Meeting begins at 12:30 p.m.
The event provides Virginia pork producers with an opportunity to receive industry updates, participate in producer education, discuss issues affecting the swine industry and connect with fellow producers and industry partners from across the state.
As the pork industry continues to face evolving challenges and opportunities, the annual meeting serves as an important forum for producers to stay informed and engaged in shaping the future of Virginia's pork sector.
