Join us as we head 120 feet underground into Bayer’s massive storage caves — an underground network carved out of limestone in the 1940s that now serves as a temperature-controlled hub for their products. Zach meets with Max Hicks, a 29-year Bayer veteran, who guides us through multiple warehouse rooms that stretch across more than a million square feet. We explore the Kansas City warehouse where raw materials and safety stock are stored, the active ingredient warehouse filled with products imported from around the world, and the finished goods area loaded with everything coming straight off the packaging line, including plenty of Delaro Complete.

Throughout the tour, we get a look at how these caves stay a steady 65–68 degrees year-round, why they were originally mined, and how they grew into an essential part of Bayer’s operation.
