I’m Rachel Fishback with Pork Industry News, reporting from the South Dakota Pork Congress, where pork producers and industry leaders from across the Midwest gathered to celebrate leadership, innovation, and commitment to pork production.
At this year’s event, Lynch Livestock was honored as the 2025 Honorary Friends of South Dakota Pork Award recipient. The award, presented by the South Dakota Pork Producers Council, recognizes companies that demonstrate exceptional support of pork producers and the pork industry.
Lynch Livestock, a division of Lynch Family Companies, operates 18 pork marketing locations throughout the Midwest and is recognized for its leadership in animal welfare, biosecurity, ethical livestock transportation, and strong producer partnerships.
In 2025, Lynch Livestock went above and beyond by donating all of the pork served at South Dakota Pork Congress meals, helping highlight the quality of pork while supporting one of the industry’s most important annual gatherings.
According to CEO Carl Treiber, Lynch Livestock takes pride in building strong relationships with customers and partners while striving to be an industry leader in animal care and high-quality pork production.
Congratulations to Lynch Livestock on receiving the 2025 Honorary Friends of South Dakota Pork Award.
