In this episode, we head to Nashville, TN to celebrate Ag Day on the Hill, where Governor Bill Lee officially proclaimed the day as Ag Day in Tennessee. It was so cold we didn’t get any footage of the actual event—but it was still a great experience being there and representing agriculture.
On our way home, we made a stop in Crossville, TN to tour a dealership and connect with other producers and ag industry professionals. We always enjoy seeing how others operate and learning from their setups.
This trip was just under 24 hours round trip, and as soon as we got back—it was straight to milking cows. No days off in dairy!
Back at the farm, I also share our new heifer pens, maternity pen, and talk about future plans for growth, including expanding through artificial insemination.
Just another day (or two) in the life of the Dairy Heirs!
