Ryan Winchester, Soil Survey Office Leader, visits Matt's farm to conduct some testing of long term cover cropped soil to compare it to conventionally tilled soil. Among other things, he is testing remediation of the fragipan, pore space, bulk density, and water infiltration rates. The results of what Matt has been able to accomplish with 10 years of intensive cover cropping are...shocking!
