Behind the scenes of the famous Iowa Pork Tent at the Iowa State Fair! The Pork Tent has been a fair tradition since the 1980s, but did you know it takes hundreds of Iowa pork producers and pork industry volunteers to make it happen?
From months of planning and days of setup to preparing and serving favorite Iowa pork dishes, these dedicated volunteers bring the Iowa Pork Tent to life. It is all made possible by the farmers and industry professionals who work year-round to raise pork for our tables and proudly share the story of Iowa agriculture.
