Sometimes the place where your story starts ends up shaping everything that comes next.
For Illinois country artist Tyson Schulte, that place was agriculture. He grew up showing pigs and cattle, spent 10 years in 4-H, served as an Illinois State FFA officer and learned lessons about responsibility, hard work and believing in what you’re building.
Those experiences became part of the foundation for a music career that has taken him from the show ring to stages alongside some of country music’s biggest names.
But I think one of the best parts of Tyson’s story is the reminder to keep going. Chase the opportunity. Take the chance. Learn from the criticism. Keep building — even when the path doesn’t look exactly like you thought it would.
And never forget where you came from.
