In this video, Corteva Market Development Specialists Ron Geis and Grant Harms discuss the benefits of Enlist Corn at a demonstration site in northwest Iowa. They explain how Enlist Corn expands on the Roundup Ready platform by adding tolerance to multiple herbicides, including 2,4-D, Liberty, glyphosate, and FOPs, which improves control of volunteer corn and resistant grasses. This technology also provides flexibility when rotating to soybeans, since current practices with Group 1 Clethodim corn killers remain effective. In cases of stand failure with non-Enlist corn, growers can replant directly into the field and remove the failed crop using FOP chemistry. Beyond weed control, Enlist Corn reduces crop injury risk from 2,4-D exposure and offers farmers new insect traits and genetics. Overall, it provides more flexibility, stronger weed management, and additional tools for future cropping seasons.
