Bay Shore Farms: 10 Years of Heads Up® on Organic Dry Beans | Heads Up

In Michigan's Thumb, white mold shows up in bean fields almost every year. Matt Sattelberg of Bay Shore Farms in Unionville grows organic dry beans, soybeans, yellow corn and green beans, and for more than a decade he hasn't planted a bean without Heads Up® seed treatment.
Matt explains how Heads Up® shrank the white mold pockets in his narrow-row beans, why a seed treatment fit his organic system when ground-applied products didn't hold up to tillage, and how treating seed ahead of time takes the pressure off at planting. He also talks about how running a bean elevator and an on-site treater led Bay Shore to offer Heads Up® to its own customers, and why every one of them has stayed.
