Kooima Ag exclusive High Performance Serrated Insert Knives: These mixer knives use a solid carbide insert edge providing 2-3 times the cutting life of the blades over a standard tungsten coated steel edge. The additional, Kooima Ag patented serrated design, provides a more aggressive cut which is essential in longer, dry hay rations. These knives are used for cutting and mixing livestock rations. The body of these blades are made from a long-lasting high wear AR400 material, while the material is proven to be very wear-resistant, it will wear out faster than the carbide inserts.
Standard Serrated Knives: These mixer knives are made of a high carbon base material that is milled, heat-treated, and tungsten hard face coated. The additional Kooima Ag exclusive serrated cutting edge offers a more aggressive cut which works very well in longer-length material. These knives have a serrated edge for extreme cutting action! They also have a counter-sunk 3/8" hole! These knives would be equal to or better than the OEM knives.
