We do a corn maze every year and this year we are chopping the field to use as a combo of earlage and dry matter to mix into our TMR. We have been working really hard to get to this point because after the flood (Helene) we had to go across the river every couple of days to get our silage since the bridges went out and we didn't get silage packed on our side of the river. Driving a dump truck is pretty simple but I have never followed a chopper... nor have I done it for my husband... It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be!
