Borgic Farms is investing in the future of the pork industry through leadership development and employee education. In this Pork Industry News update, Rachel Fishback shares how members of the Borgic Bridge to Development team recently attended the inaugural Team Lead Course in Springfield, Illinois.
The two-day leadership training focused on communication styles, employee development, team building, and relationship development within the swine industry. Participants had the opportunity to connect with fellow pork industry professionals while strengthening leadership skills that will help support the future of pork production.
Borgic Farms highlighted the importance of continuing education, workforce development, and preparing the next generation of pork industry leaders. The company also recognized Ag Leadership Partners and facilitator Shonda for creating a program designed to strengthen leadership across agriculture and animal agriculture.
As pork producers continue to focus on employee retention, communication, and professional growth, programs like the Team Lead Course help build stronger teams and a stronger future for the U.S. pork industry.
