Due to COVID-19 our nations livestock processing facilitates have been back up. Many hog producers are euthanizing their hogs because they cannot send them to the processor. In this experiment we covered three hog mortalities in a compost pile. This process gives hog producers an environmentally friendly option to dispose of euthanized hogs while creating a valuable resource that can be used in a variety of applications.
