It’s a crappy job, but it’s an important one. Routine barn clean up keeps alleyways clear of manure, stalls fresh, and cows comfortable. We’re spreading barn lime to help control moisture, reduce odor, and keep bedding clean and cozy for our cows and heifers. Comfortable cows plus clean barns make a big difference in herd health and milk quality. Scott also shows how we use the app on our TMR mix wagon to dial in accurate feed weights, making sure each ration is balanced and the cows get exactly what they need to produce delicious milk. And because farm life is all about balance, the kids wrap up the day riding in a feed trough (safely, driven by mom). Work hard, play hard, farm life at its finest.
