President Trump announced a 90-day pause on higher tariffs for dozens of countries, but hiked levies on China to 125% on Wednesday afternoon.
On Thursday, Trump increased tariffs on Chinese imports to an effective rate of 145%.
Over the noon hour on Wednesday, soybeans jumped 16 cents higher, while feeder cattle traded $6 higher and live cattle traded $3.50 higher.
