Overgrown to clean — in this video I’m tackling small trees, brush, and thick bushes on the farm using a skid steer equipped with a grinder. This area had been left untouched for years, and the goal was to reclaim usable ground while cleaning up field edges and improving access across the farm.
Using a skid steer grinder makes brush clearing efficient and controlled, turning unwanted trees and vegetation into mulch instead of piles that need to be burned or hauled away. I walk through the setup, show how the grinder handles different sizes of brush, and demonstrate real-world performance in overgrown conditions you’ll find on many farms and rural properties.
Whether you’re managing farmland, orchards, food plots, or acreage that’s getting out of control, this type of land clearing setup can save time and reduce labor. This video shows the process from start to finish, including before-and-after results and practical tips for safer, more effective brush removal with farm equipment.
If you work with skid steers, forestry mulchers, or land-clearing attachments, drop a comment and let me know what equipment you’re running. Don’t forget to subscribe for more real farm work, equipment projects, and behind-the-scenes footage from life on the farm.
